Tips for a Clean Upload
- Take the photo in even daylight with a plain light background and keep your face straight.
- Sign with a dark blue or black pen on clean white paper, then take a sharp picture.
- For signatures, keep “Whiten the paper background” on to remove grey shadows from the paper.
- If the file is still too big, make the pixels a little smaller or use Crop to fill with a tighter frame.
- If the form asks for a minimum size and your file is smaller, the tool adds harmless padding to reach it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. Resizing and compression happen inside your browser, so the picture never leaves your device.
What file type do I get?
A JPG file, which is the type most exam forms accept.
Why does the tool say it cannot reach the KB limit?
A very large pixel size cannot always fit in a very small file. Lower the width and height a little and try again.
How is the KB counted?
The tool counts 1 KB as 1024 bytes and shows the exact size of the file you will download.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. Drag with one finger to move the picture and use the zoom slider to resize it.
