How to Use the Tool

Tips for a Good Photo
- Face the camera straight, keep your eyes open and your expression natural.
- Stand in even daylight so there are no shadows on the face or the wall behind you.
- Use a plain light wall or sheet. Auto remove works best when the background is one even colour.
- Avoid filters, heavy editing, caps and glare on glasses.
- Keep the full head and shoulders in the frame, with the head centred.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. Cropping, background colour, adjustments and print sheets all happen inside your browser. The only exception is if you choose the remove.bg option, which sends that one photo to remove.bg.
Why did auto remove leave patches behind?
Auto remove looks at the colour around the edges of the picture. If the wall has shadows or several colours, raise the strength slider or try the remove.bg option.
How do I get a photo under 50 KB?
Type 50 in the maximum file size box and press Download JPG. The tool lowers the quality step by step until the file fits.
How big will the printed photo be?
The sheet is made at 300 DPI, so each photo prints at the exact size you chose when the printer is set to 100% or actual size.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. The page works on mobile browsers. Drag with one finger to move the photo and use the zoom slider to resize it.
