Latest Update and Rules
- Passing marks: Under UIDAI's Training, Testing and Certification Policy 2023, an Enrolment/Authentication Operator needs 65 out of 100. The older 2022 notice you may see online says 55. Use the 65-mark rule.
- Exam: 100 marks in 120 minutes. Below 65 means a retest, with a gap of at least one month.
- Certificate validity: 3 years.
- Recertification: take the exam within 6 months after your certificate expires. If you pass, the new certificate runs 3 years from the old expiry date. If you miss the window, the certificate is suspended and you must redo refresher training and certification. Gap between recertification attempts: 15 days.
- Eligibility: 12th pass, or 2-year ITI, or 3-year diploma. For IPPB / Anganwadi / ASHA workers, 10th pass is accepted. Candidates must be verified by an enrolment agency or AUA/KUA; freelancers cannot take the exam.
- Blacklisted operators cannot take the certification exam.
What to Carry on Exam Day
- A recent e-Aadhaar download from eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in (earlier notices ask for one downloaded after 15 Feb 2019 or later), printed in black & white or colour.
- Your printed Admit Card.
- Photo and details must match; a mismatch can stop you at the centre.

Preparation Tips
- Read the handbook chapter by chapter, giving most time to the chapters with the most marks: Registrars/EAs (17), Enrolment Process (16), Quality (16) and Fraud and Customer Satisfaction (15).
- Solve the Q&A book, then retry your wrong answers.
- Take a timed mock test to practise 100 questions in 120 minutes.
- Use the Hindi handbook if you understand concepts better in Hindi.

What are the passing marks?
- 65 out of 100 for ECMP Operator cum Supervisor under the 2023 policy. For CELC the 2022 notice says 19 out of 35.
How long is the certificate valid?
- 3 years. Recertify within 6 months after expiry.
Can a CELC operator do other enrolment?
- No. CELC operators can only enrol children on the CELC tablet.
Which book should I read first?
- Start with the handbook, then solve the Q&A book.

नवीनतम अपडेट और नियम
- पास अंक: UIDAI की Training, Testing and Certification Policy 2023 के अनुसार Enrolment/Authentication ऑपरेटर को 100 में से 65 अंक चाहिए। ऑनलाइन दिखने वाली 2022 की पुरानी सूचना में 55 लिखा है। 65 अंक वाला नियम ही मानें।
- परीक्षा: 120 मिनट में 100 अंक। 65 से कम पर री-टेस्ट, कम से कम एक महीने के अंतर के बाद।
- सर्टिफ़िकेट वैधता: 3 साल।
- रिसर्टिफ़िकेशन: सर्टिफ़िकेट खत्म होने के बाद 6 महीने के अंदर परीक्षा दें। पास होने पर नया सर्टिफ़िकेट पुराने के खत्म होने की तारीख से 3 साल चलेगा। समय निकल गया तो सर्टिफ़िकेट सस्पेंड हो जाता है और दोबारा रिफ़्रेशर ट्रेनिंग व सर्टिफ़िकेशन करना पड़ता है। रिसर्टिफ़िकेशन के दो प्रयासों में कम से कम 15 दिन का अंतर।
- पात्रता: 12वीं पास, या 2 साल का ITI, या 3 साल का डिप्लोमा। IPPB / आंगनवाड़ी / आशा कार्यकर्ता के लिए 10वीं पास मान्य है। उम्मीदवार का एनरोलमेंट एजेंसी या AUA/KUA से वेरिफ़ाई होना ज़रूरी है; फ़्रीलांसर परीक्षा नहीं दे सकते।
- ब्लैकलिस्टेड ऑपरेटर सर्टिफ़िकेशन परीक्षा नहीं दे सकते।
परीक्षा के दिन साथ क्या ले जाएं
- eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in से डाउनलोड किया हुआ नया e-Aadhaar (पुरानी सूचनाओं में 15 फ़रवरी 2019 के बाद का डाउनलोड माँगा गया है), ब्लैक-व्हाइट या रंगीन प्रिंट में।
- आपका प्रिंटेड Admit Card।
- फ़ोटो और जानकारी मेल खानी चाहिए; न मिलने पर सेंटर पर रोका जा सकता है।
