Exam at a Glance

Who Can Apply?

• Education: 12th pass from a recognised board, or a 3-year polytechnic diploma, or a 2-year ITI after 10th. Anganwadi, ASHA and IPPB workers can apply with 10th pass if onboarded through a govt project or state registrar.
• Age: at least 18 years. No upper limit, but you must be able to use the biometric devices.
• Aadhaar: valid, not blocked by any registrar or agency, and linked to your current mobile number.
• Photo: your Aadhaar photo should be recent (updated within about 3 months). If the photo on the admit card does not match your Aadhaar photo or your face, you can be stopped at the centre.

How to Create the Offline Aadhaar XML File

1. Open myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in and log in with your Aadhaar number and OTP.
2. Click Offline eKYC on the dashboard.
3. Set a 4-digit Share Code. It works as the password of the file.
4. Download the ZIP file and save it on your computer.
5. Do not unzip it. Upload the same ZIP and enter the same share code on the first step of registration.

Checklist Before Applying

• Aadhaar is active and your name matches your certificates.
• Aadhaar is linked to a working mobile number for OTP.
• LMS certificate in PDF/JPG/JPEG (about 50 KB to 1 MB).
• 12th mark sheet or certificate, clearly scanned, in PDF/JPG/JPEG.
• Permission or sponsorship from your regional office / agency, where applicable.
• Fresh offline XML ZIP and its 4-digit share code.

Registration Process (Step by Step)

1. Open uidai.dexitglobalexams.com and click Create New User.
2. Sign up: upload the XML ZIP, enter the share code and click Extract. Enter your Aadhaar-linked mobile number, validate it and verify the OTP. Tick the declaration, add your email and click Show XML Content. Check your name, date of birth, gender and photo, then Confirm.
3. You will get a success message with your User ID and password. Save them safely.
4. Login with the User ID and temporary password. Change the password, choose a secret question and answer (needed for password recovery), then accept the declaration and continue.
5. Profile: if you were certified earlier, tick Previous Enrolment Details and enter user code, certificate number, issue date and issuing body, then Verify. First-timers skip this. Fill Basic, Personal and LMS certificate details and Save & Continue.
6. Upload documents: education proof and LMS certificate in PDF/JPG/JPEG.
7. Select your Regional Office (RO) from the table below.
8. Review and submit for authorisation. You can track it in Application History.
9. Approval: the status says the request is pending with your registrar. Contact your RO / EA for approval.
10. Pay the fee: after approval, click Proceed to Pay under Actions, choose a payment method and pay. A transaction number confirms success.
11. Book slot: once the status shows Payment Approved, click Book Seat. Tick Change Preferred Test Details only if you want a new centre. Pick the date, press Book on your time slot, and confirm within 60 seconds.
12. Admit card: log in again, open the Admit Card menu, save it and carry a colour print to the centre.

Exam Pattern and Passing Rules

• One combined test of 100 marks in 120 minutes. There is no separate operator and supervisor paper.
• Score 65 or more to get the Operator cum Supervisor certificate.
• Below 65 means a re-test (₹255.47). The gap between attempts is at least one month, and 15 days for a recertification exam.
• The syllabus follows the official UIDAI Handbook for Ecosystem Partners under the Training, Testing and Certification Policy 2023.

Preparation Tips

• Study like you are sitting at a live Aadhaar counter: documents, biometrics, exceptions and portal steps.
• Practise a timed mock test so the clock does not make you panic.
• Old cut-off scores quoted on some sites are from the earlier system. Use the 65-mark rule.

Download Your Certificate

1. After you submit the exam, your score appears on screen.
2. The centre gives you a printed, sealed certificate if you pass. Keep it safe.
3. A day or two later you can also log in to the DEXIT Global portal, open Certificate and click Certificate Download.
4. Print it and keep a soft copy.
