Steps: Add a Member Online

1. Open sso.rajasthan.gov.in, log in with your SSO ID and open the Jan Aadhaar app under Citizen Apps.
2. Enter your Jan Aadhaar number and complete Aadhaar OTP authentication of the head or an adult member.
3. Choose the update / edit option and select Add Member.
4. Enter the new member's Aadhaar number (or birth certificate details for a small child) and the relationship with the head.
5. Fill in the other details, upload the documents and submit.
6. Complete the e-Sign with the Aadhaar OTP.
7. The request goes for two-level verification. After approval the member shows in the family record. Then complete the member's e-KYC.

Steps: Add a Member at e-Mitra

1. Visit the nearest e-Mitra centre with your Jan Aadhaar number and the member's documents.
2. Ask the operator to add a new member in your Jan Aadhaar.
3. The head or an adult member completes Aadhaar authentication.
4. The operator enters the details and uploads the documents. Complete the e-Sign and take the acknowledgement.
5. Only the government-prescribed e-Mitra service charge is payable.

After You Submit

• In rural areas the first check is by the Village Development Officer and the second by the Block Statistical Officer.
• In urban areas the first check is by the local body officer and the second by the Sub Divisional Officer.
• Do the member's e-KYC as soon as the member is added. No edit is possible before e-KYC.
• Use Jan Aadhaar Status on janaadhaar.rajasthan.gov.in to see where the request stands.

Common Problems and Solutions

• Cannot edit the record: The head's or a member's e-KYC is pending. Complete it first.
• Status shows Pending at citizen: The e-Sign is not done. Log in and finish it.

• Name or date of birth differs from Aadhaar: Correct it with UIDAI first, because e-KYC copies what Aadhaar holds.
