How to Get Back a Lost Ration Card: Rajasthan Process

If your ration card is lost, torn or damaged, there is no need to panic. In Rajasthan, the digital copy of the card can be taken from the RRCC portal, DigiLocker, the Mera Ration 2.0 app or the Jan Soochna Portal. This guide covers everything from finding your card number to getting a new or duplicate card.

On the Download Ration Card page of the RRCC portal (rrcc.rajasthan.gov.in), enter your district and ration card number to get the card as a PDF.
You can also search for the ration card on DigiLocker under the Rajasthan Food & Civil Supplies Department.
If you do not remember the ration card number, you can see the card details with your Jan Aadhaar number on the Jan Soochna Portal.
To collect ration after losing the card, the ration dealer can usually identify you through e-KYC or Aadhaar. Still, keep the PDF of the card with you.

Process to Get a Lost Ration Card Back

First find your ration card number. It may be on an old receipt, ration slip or e-Mitra receipt.
If you cannot find it, open the 'Ration Card' service on jansoochna.rajasthan.gov.in and enter your Jan Aadhaar number to see the family's ration card number and details. In the Mera Ration app, you can also see the card number with an Aadhaar or mobile number.
Open the Download Ration Card page on rrcc.rajasthan.gov.in, choose your district and enter the ration card number.
Download the card PDF and keep a printout safely.
If you prefer, log in to DigiLocker, search for 'Food & Civil Supplies Department, Rajasthan', choose 'Ration Card' and enter the card number etc.
If the card does not show online or you cannot find the number, visit the nearest e-Mitra centre and ask about the ration card correction/duplicate card service.
After applying at e-Mitra, keep the receipt safe. If there is a delay, contact the district food office.

Common Problems and Solutions

Card does not open on RRCC: Re-check the district and number. If it still does not open, try DigiLocker or visit e-Mitra.
Do not remember the Jan Aadhaar number either: Check the Aadhaar-linked mobile or get the Jan Aadhaar details traced from Aadhaar at e-Mitra.

Someone else may be misusing the card: Make a written complaint at the food office immediately or report on 181.
