Process to Update Information in Jan Aadhaar

First decide whose information is to be updated: the member with a disability or the widow.
Keep ready the UDID card/disability certificate (issued from the Swavlamban portal) for the member with a disability, and the husband's death certificate for a widow.
Log in to the SSO portal with your SSO ID, add your Jan Aadhaar number to the profile and open the 'Jan Aadhaar' icon in Citizen Apps. You can also go to a nearby e-Mitra.
Choose 'Amendment/update of information in Jan Aadhaar registration' and select the member whose details are to change.
For a member with a disability, fill in the type/percentage of disability and the UDID details. For a widow, correct the marital status and upload the required certificate.
The head or an adult member confirms with Aadhaar authentication (OTP) and sends the application for verification.
After two-level verification, the change will show in Jan Aadhaar. Then apply for the pension etc. on the SSP portal.
