- PM-KISAN is a central scheme started in 2019 that pays Rs 2,000 every four months, Rs 6,000 a year, by DBT to the farmer's bank account.
- Reports say the 22nd instalment was released on 13 March 2026 and the 23rd around June 2026, so the next one is expected around October to November 2026. Check pmkisan.gov.in for the exact date.
- e-KYC is compulsory, and a Farmer ID (Farmer Registry under AgriStack) is now being made mandatory for receiving instalments.
- Apply only on the official portal pmkisan.gov.in or through a CSC. It is free.
Who Can Apply
- Landholding farmer families, subject to the scheme rules.
- Registration needs land records in the farmer's name and an Aadhaar-seeded bank account.

How to Apply Online
- Open pmkisan.gov.in and go to Farmers Corner.
- Click New Farmer Registration.
- Choose Rural or Urban farmer, enter Aadhaar and mobile, and verify with OTP.
- Select your state and fill personal, land (khasra) and bank details.
- Upload documents if asked and submit.
- Note the registration number. The state officer verifies the application.
- Or apply offline at your nearest CSC or through the Patwari or agriculture officer. Rajasthan farmers can also take help at e-Mitra.
How to Do e-KYC
- On pmkisan.gov.in, open eKYC under Farmers Corner.
- Enter your Aadhaar number and the captcha, then verify with the OTP sent to the Aadhaar-linked mobile.
- Or use the PMKISAN GoI app and choose Face Authentication eKYC.
- If these fail, visit a CSC for biometric eKYC.
How to Check Status
- Open pmkisan.gov.in and click Beneficiary Status.
- Enter your registration number or Aadhaar number and click Get Data.
- See eKYC status, land seeding, Aadhaar seeding and the instalments paid.
- Check on screen: menu names, fees and steps on government portals can change. Follow what the official screen shows.
What the Money is Used For
- The money supports farming costs such as seeds, fertiliser, pesticides and labour.
- It also helps with household needs in the farming family.
- It is a direct income support, with no repayment.

ऑनलाइन आवेदन कैसे करें
- pmkisan.gov.in खोलकर Farmers Corner में जाएँ।
- New Farmer Registration पर क्लिक करें।
- ग्रामीण या शहरी किसान चुनें, आधार और मोबाइल डालें और OTP से वेरिफाई करें।
- राज्य चुनकर व्यक्तिगत, ज़मीन (खसरा) और बैंक की जानकारी भरें।
- माँगे जाने पर दस्तावेज़ अपलोड करके जमा करें।

e-KYC कैसे करें
- pmkisan.gov.in पर Farmers Corner में eKYC खोलें।
- आधार नंबर और कैप्चा डालें, फिर आधार से जुड़े मोबाइल पर आए OTP से वेरिफाई करें।
- या PMKISAN GoI ऐप में Face Authentication eKYC चुनें।
- ये न चलें तो बायोमेट्रिक eKYC के लिए CSC जाएँ।
स्टेटस कैसे चेक करें
- pmkisan.gov.in खोलकर Beneficiary Status दबाएँ।
- अपना रजिस्ट्रेशन नंबर या आधार नंबर डालकर Get Data दबाएँ।
- eKYC स्टेटस, लैंड सीडिंग, आधार सीडिंग और मिली किस्तें देखें।
- स्क्रीन पर जाँचें: सरकारी पोर्टल के मेन्यू, शुल्क और स्टेप बदल सकते हैं। आधिकारिक स्क्रीन जो दिखाए वही मानें।

- यह पैसा खेती के खर्च, जैसे बीज, खाद, कीटनाशक और मज़दूरी, में मदद करता है।
- किसान परिवार की घरेलू ज़रूरतों में भी सहारा देता है।
- यह सीधी आय सहायता है, इसे लौटाना नहीं होता।
