- Investors file and track claims online. No agent is needed.
What is a PACL Certificate?
- PACL gave investors a registration certificate with a certificate number (it starts with a letter such as U).
- The certificate shows the investor name, amount invested, date and, in some cases, land allotment details.
- The certificate number is the key for checking claim status.
Refund Status in Short
- Refunds were paid in phases by claim amount. By June 2023 the Committee had paid eligible claims up to Rs 17,000.
- Some applications could not be processed because of deficiencies, mostly in bank details.
- About Rs 1,200 crore was reported to be available with the Committee in May 2026, and a bank-rectification window was opened for eligible investors.
- Date check: The bank-rectification window was extended to 6 October 2026. As of 15 October 2026 it may have closed, so check the portal and the Committee's latest public notice.
