The 137 Composite Ecological Task Force Battalion (Territorial Army), 39 Gorkha Rifles will hold a recruitment rally for 74 vacancies on an all-India basis, for ex-servicemen (pension holders) and ex-women employees of MoEF&CC and State Forest Departments. There is no online application and no fee: eligible candidates report in person at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, New Cantt, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.

Eligibility and Physical Standards

Ex-servicemen who are pension holders only, or ex-women employees of MoEF&CC / State Forest Departments with at least 20 years' service.
JCOs must enrol within 5 years of retirement. JCOs can serve up to 55 years; other ranks up to 50 years.
Medical category SHAPE-1; character Exemplary / Very Good.

5 cm relaxation in height (and corresponding weight) for women from North-East and hill areas.

Service Conditions and Pay

Enrolment is initially for 2 years, extendable one year at a time on performance and project needs. The Territorial Army is a voluntary, essentially part-time organisation.
Basic pay and DA as per rank; Children Education, Hill Compensatory, HRA and Road Mileage allowances may be admissible.
Pension, increment and gratuity are not admissible for this Ecological Task Force service.
Canteen and medical facilities as for other units.

Selection Process

Physical tests for male candidates: 1-mile run, pull-ups, 8-foot ditch and zigzag balance.
Proficiency/trade test for tradesmen; afforestation and nursery management test for ex-women employees.
Medical examination, then interview by the Board of Officers.

How to Participate in the Rally

Check that you are an eligible ex-serviceman pension holder or ex-women employee with 20 years' service.
Prepare originals: Discharge Book, PPO, education certificate, domicile certificate, character certificate from Sarpanch/Police, and 8 recent passport photos (colour) plus one original.
Report at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, New Cantt, Prayagraj on 16-11-2026 at 7:00 AM.
Appear for physical, trade, medical and interview as applicable.

No mobile phones at the rally site. No mess or accommodation is provided. Recruitment is free; do not pay anyone.

पात्रता एवं शारीरिक मानक

केवल पेंशनधारी पूर्व सैनिक, या MoEF&CC / राज्य वन विभाग की कम से कम 20 वर्ष सेवा वाली पूर्व महिला कर्मचारी।
JCO को सेवानिवृत्ति के 5 वर्ष के भीतर नामांकन कराना होगा। JCO 55 वर्ष तक और अन्य रैंक 50 वर्ष तक सेवा कर सकते हैं।
मेडिकल श्रेणी SHAPE-1; चरित्र उत्कृष्ट / बहुत अच्छा।

सेवा शर्तें एवं वेतन

नामांकन शुरू में 2 वर्ष के लिए, प्रदर्शन और परियोजना जरूरत के अनुसार एक-एक वर्ष बढ़ सकता है। टेरिटोरियल आर्मी स्वैच्छिक और मूलतः अंशकालिक संगठन है।
रैंक के अनुसार बेसिक पे और DA; बच्चों की शिक्षा, हिल कंपेंसेटरी, HRA और रोड माइलेज भत्ते मिल सकते हैं।
इस इकोलॉजिकल टास्क फोर्स सेवा के लिए पेंशन, वेतन वृद्धि और ग्रेच्युटी मान्य नहीं।
अन्य यूनिटों की तरह कैंटीन और चिकित्सा सुविधा।

चयन प्रक्रिया

पुरुष उम्मीदवारों के लिए शारीरिक परीक्षण: 1 मील दौड़, पुल-अप, 8 फुट खाई और जिग-जैग बैलेंस।
ट्रेड्समैन के लिए ट्रेड टेस्ट; पूर्व महिला कर्मचारियों के लिए वनीकरण और नर्सरी प्रबंधन संबंधी परीक्षा।
मेडिकल जांच, फिर बोर्ड ऑफ ऑफिसर्स द्वारा इंटरव्यू।

रैली में कैसे शामिल हों

जांचें कि आप पात्र पेंशनधारी पूर्व सैनिक या 20 वर्ष सेवा वाली पूर्व महिला कर्मचारी हैं।
मूल दस्तावेज तैयार रखें: डिस्चार्ज बुक, PPO, शैक्षणिक प्रमाणपत्र, डोमिसाइल प्रमाणपत्र, सरपंच/पुलिस से चरित्र प्रमाणपत्र, और 8 हाल के रंगीन पासपोर्ट फोटो तथा 1 मूल फोटो।
16-11-2026 सुबह 7:00 बजे मेजर ध्यानचंद स्टेडियम, न्यू कैंट, प्रयागराज पहुंचें।
शारीरिक, ट्रेड, मेडिकल और इंटरव्यू में लागू के अनुसार शामिल हों।
