Vacancy Details

A total of 33,320 teacher posts are notified for Class 1 to 12. Subject-wise and category-wise vacancies, along with the district-wise roster for Class 9–10 and 11–12, are given in the notices on the BPSC website, including the notice for increased vacancies.

Educational Qualification

Class 1–5	Any one of: Bachelor's with 50% + B.Ed; Bachelor's in any stream + Diploma in Elementary Education; 10+2 with 50% + 2-year Elementary Education / Special diploma; 10+2 with 45% (2002 norms) + 2-year Elementary Education diploma; 10+2 with 50% + 4-year B.El.Ed; Master's with 55% + 3-year B.Ed–M.Ed. CTET Paper I or BTET Paper I must be qualified.
Class 6–8	Any one of: Graduation + 2-year D.Ed; Graduation/PG with 50% + B.Ed; Graduation with 45% + B.Ed (NCTE norms); Graduation with 50% + B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed; Graduation with 50% + B.Ed (Special); PG with 55% + 3-year B.Ed–M.Ed.
Class 9–10 (TGT, including Special)	Graduate/PG in the related subject with at least 50% + B.Ed; or with 45% (2002 norms) + B.Ed; or a 4-year B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed. STET Paper I (subject-wise) must be passed.
Class 11–12 (PGT)	Postgraduate in the related subject with at least 50% + B.Ed; or 45% (2002 norms) + B.Ed; or PG with a 4-year B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed; or Master's with 55% + 3-year B.Ed–M.Ed. STET Paper II must be passed.

कक्षा 1–5	इनमें से कोई एक: स्नातक 50% + B.Ed; किसी भी विषय में स्नातक + प्रारंभिक शिक्षा डिप्लोमा; 12वीं 50% + 2 वर्षीय प्रारंभिक शिक्षा / विशेष डिप्लोमा; 12वीं 45% (2002 मानक) + 2 वर्षीय प्रारंभिक शिक्षा डिप्लोमा; 12वीं 50% + 4 वर्षीय B.El.Ed; परास्नातक 55% + 3 वर्षीय B.Ed–M.Ed। CTET पेपर I या BTET पेपर I उत्तीर्ण होना ज़रूरी।
कक्षा 6–8	इनमें से कोई एक: स्नातक + 2 वर्षीय D.Ed; स्नातक/परास्नातक 50% + B.Ed; स्नातक 45% + B.Ed (NCTE मानक); स्नातक 50% + B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed; स्नातक 50% + B.Ed (विशेष); परास्नातक 55% + 3 वर्षीय B.Ed–M.Ed।
कक्षा 9–10 (TGT, विशेष सहित)	संबंधित विषय में स्नातक/परास्नातक, कम से कम 50% + B.Ed; या 45% (2002 मानक) + B.Ed; या 4 वर्षीय B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed। STET पेपर I (विषयवार) उत्तीर्ण होना ज़रूरी।
कक्षा 11–12 (PGT)	संबंधित विषय में परास्नातक, कम से कम 50% + B.Ed; या 45% (2002 मानक) + B.Ed; या परास्नातक + 4 वर्षीय B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed; या मास्टर्स 55% + 3 वर्षीय B.Ed–M.Ed। STET पेपर II उत्तीर्ण होना ज़रूरी।
