Rajasthan has 96 training seats and the local language is Hindi. Candidates who studied Hindi in their 10th or 12th standard mark sheet do not have to take the local language test. A candidate can opt for only one state and give an order of preference for districts in that state.

Eligibility
- Citizenship: Indian citizen.
- Education: A degree in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India (or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government).
- Graduation passing window: Between 1 January 2023 and 1 September 2026 (both days inclusive).
- NATS registration: 100% complete profile on nats.education.gov.in.
- Local language: Knowledge of the local language of the chosen state.
- Fitness: Engagement depends on being declared medically fit as per the bank's requirement.
Not eligible:
- Those who have already done apprenticeship with Canara Bank or any other organisation, or are doing it now.
- Those terminated from an earlier apprenticeship due to their own fault.
- Those with one year or more of training or job experience after completing their education.
- Ex-servicemen and disabled ex-servicemen (there is no reservation for them).
Age Limit (as on 1 September 2026)
Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years. Date of birth must be between 2 September 1998 and 1 September 2006 (both days inclusive). The maximum age applies to General and EWS candidates.

Apprentices are not employees of the bank and get no allowances or benefits other than the stipend. Deductions are made for any loss of pay.

The fee is payable online only (debit/credit card, net banking, IMPS, cash card or mobile wallet). Do not press Back or Refresh after submitting payment details, to avoid being charged twice.
Selection Process
- Merit list: Prepared state-wise in descending order of marks (percentage) in 12th / Diploma. Ties are ranked by age, older candidate first.
- Minimum marks: At least 60% in 12th/Diploma (55% for SC/ST/PwBD). Fractions are ignored, so 59.99% counts as below 60%.
- Document verification and local language test: Original documents will be checked. Any discrepancy can lead to disqualification.
- Final selection: Subject to verification of information, passing the local language test (where applicable) and medical fitness.
The advertisement does not mention any written examination. Where CGPA is awarded, it must be converted into percentage while filling the application.
How to Apply
- Register on nats.education.gov.in, complete your profile to 100% and keep the enrolment number safe.
- Visit canarabank.bank.in, go to Careers, then Recruitment, and open the link "Engagement of Graduate Apprentices ... FY 2026-27".
- Click "CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION" and enter basic details. A provisional registration number and password are sent by email and SMS.
- Enter your NATS enrolment ID, fill in all details, choose one state and give your district preferences.
- Upload your photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration.
- Verify details using "SAVE AND NEXT". No change is possible after FINAL SUBMIT.
- Pay the fee (if applicable) and take a printout of the application and e-receipt.
Submit only one application. If more than one is submitted, only the latest completed valid application is considered. If you do not receive an email or SMS confirmation, the application is treated as not registered.

The declaration reads: "I, ____ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required." Spell your name as in your 10th mark sheet. Keep a valid personal email ID and mobile number active until the process ends.

- Photo ID (passport, Aadhaar, PAN, voter ID, driving licence, etc.)
- Mark sheets from 10th to the highest examination passed, including semester/year-wise marks and the final degree
- Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC, with non-creamy layer for OBC) in the prescribed format
- Income and asset certificate (EWS) in the prescribed format
- UDID card and disability certificate from a Medical Board (PwBD)
