Age Limit

18 to 30 years as on the last date of application. ST candidates against reserved vacancy get 5 years' relaxation. Serving Government servants get relaxation up to 5 years as per Central Government instructions.

Eligibility Criteria

Track A: Master's degree in Economics / Commerce / Statistics / Business Studies / Public Administration + 1 year experience handling stores or accounts in a Central/State Government, statutory or autonomous body, PSU, university, recognised institution, bank or listed private organisation.
Track B: Bachelor's degree in the same subjects + 2 years of similar experience, or a Diploma in Material Management / Warehousing / Purchasing / Logistics / Public Procurement + 2 years of similar experience.
Role: custodian of a store house, supervising staff, ledger and audit work, inventory control, scrap disposal and issue-receipt handling.

Selection Process

Scrutiny of applications. Admit cards are sent by post in your self-addressed envelope; the shortlist is also on the website.
Document verification on the exam day with originals dated on or before 03-11-2026.
Written exam: pen-and-paper, bilingual, 80 objective questions, 1 mark each, no negative marking. Centres tentatively at New Mangalore and Bhubaneswar.
Merit list strictly on written test marks.

Syllabus includes Mathematics topics such as Simplification, Ratio and Proportion, Interest, Profit and Loss, Percentage, Time-Speed-Distance, Mensuration and Central Tendency, plus subjects relevant to the post.

How to Apply (Offline)

Fill the application in the prescribed format (Annexure-I) in English or Hindi; download it from indiancoastguard.gov.in.
Attach a self-attested colour photo and self-attested copies of Aadhaar, Matriculation, UG/PG/Diploma certificates, category certificate (ST/EWS) and experience certificate.
Serving Government employees must attach an NOC; without it an appointment letter will not be issued.
Attach 2 passport photos and a blank self-addressed envelope with a ₹50 postal stamp.

ट्रैक B: उन्हीं विषयों में स्नातक + 2 वर्ष समान अनुभव, या मैटेरियल मैनेजमेंट / वेयरहाउसिंग / परचेजिंग / लॉजिस्टिक्स / पब्लिक प्रोक्योरमेंट में डिप्लोमा + 2 वर्ष समान अनुभव।
कार्य: स्टोर हाउस की अभिरक्षा, स्टाफ की निगरानी, लेजर और ऑडिट कार्य, इन्वेंटरी नियंत्रण, कबाड़ निपटान और निर्गम-प्राप्ति प्रणाली।

चयन प्रक्रिया
