ISRO IPRC Recruitment 2026: 22 Posts of Technical Assistant, Technician 'B', Cook 'A' and Fireman 'A'

The ISRO Propulsion Complex (IPRC) at Mahendragiri, Tamil Nadu, has announced 22 vacancies under Advertisement No. IPRC/RMT/2026/01. Candidates with a Class 10 pass, ITI or a diploma can apply. Age Limit

  • Technical Assistant, Technician 'B' and Cook 'A': 18 to 35 years.
  • Fireman 'A': 18 to 25 years.
  • Age is counted as on 5 October 2026.
  • Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC where the post is reserved; other categories as per Central Government rules.

Educational Qualification

  • Technical Assistant: first-class diploma in the relevant engineering branch.
  • Technician 'B': Class 10 pass plus ITI in the relevant trade with NTC or NAC from NCVT.
  • Cook 'A': Class 10 pass plus 5 years of experience in a reputed hotel or canteen.
  • Fireman 'A': Class 10 pass, must meet the prescribed physical standards, and upload a preliminary medical certificate with the application.

Selection Process

  • Technical Assistant, Technician 'B', Cook 'A': written test and skill test.
  • Fireman 'A': written test, physical efficiency test and detailed medical examination.
  • Technical Assistant and Technician 'B' written test: 80 multiple-choice questions, 90 minutes, +1 for each correct answer and -0.33 for each wrong answer.
  • The skill test is qualifying only; its marks are not added. Final selection is on written test marks.

  1. Go to www.iprc.gov.in and open the Careers page.
  2. Fill in the online application with a valid email ID and upload documents.
  3. Pay the fee online.
  4. Submit before 5 October 2026, 4:00 PM. Post, email or bio-data applications are not accepted.
  5. Keep all uploaded originals ready for the skill test. Government/PSU employees must bring a No Objection Certificate.
