Job Role
Pharmacist
Manage medicine dispensing at the store, keep stock at the right level and plan daily requirements, coordinate with the Logistics & Supply Chain team, follow all legal and regulatory rules for store operations, and maintain transaction records and MIS reports.
Senior Pharmacist
Look after stock levels and timely ordering to avoid stock-outs, ensure the store runs lawfully and passes inspections, maintain records and MIS, oversee smooth dispensing of medicines and surgical items, follow quality and security procedures for controlled substances, and supervise junior store staff.

Selection Process
- Initial screening of applications against eligibility.
- Written examination covering English writing skills, subject knowledge for the post and general knowledge. Date, venue and syllabus are sent by email.
- Personal interaction cum interview for candidates who qualify the written test. Offers go out in order of merit.
How to Apply (as per the circular)
- Download the prescribed application form from pmbi.co.in and fill it completely. Use only the PMBI format.
- Attach a recent passport-size photo (no selfies).
- Attach age proof (Matriculation certificate, Aadhaar, PAN or Passport), education certificates and experience certificates.
- Attach a ₹100 Demand Draft in favour of “Pharmaceuticals & Medical Devices Bureau of India (PMBI)”.
- Send everything by post/courier to: CEO, PMBI, B-500, Tower B, 5th Floor, World Trade Centre, Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi – 110029.
- Make sure it reaches before the last date and time.

Key Terms
- The job is contractual and does not give any right to a permanent post.
