Educational Qualification and Other Conditions
- A Bachelor's degree with Honours in the practical subject of the vacancy you apply for. No minimum percentage is stated.
- Indian citizen and a resident of Odisha.
- You must be able to read, write and speak Odia, with Odia as a subject in HSC or equivalent, or a pass in the Middle School standard Odia test.
- A degree from outside Odisha needs an equivalence certificate from a recognised Odisha body. If your marksheet is in grades, you need a numerical equivalence from the university.
- A government servant can apply but must inform the head of office and produce a No Objection Certificate before document verification.
Age Limit and Relaxation
- Age must be 21 to 42 years as on 1 January 2026, i.e. born between 1 January 1984 and 1 January 2005.
- SC, ST, SEBC, women and ex-servicemen: 5 years.
- PwD with a permanent disability of 40% or more: 10 years. PwD candidates from SEBC, SC or ST get a total of 15 years.
- Other candidates get only the single most beneficial relaxation. Temporary disability gets no age relaxation.

- Upload a passport photo taken within 15 days before submission, your full signature and left thumb impression.
- Pay ₹200 or ₹500 online, then download the submitted form and keep it for verification.
Documents for Verification
- Printout of the online form, HSC certificate and marksheet, Bachelor's degree certificate and marksheet.
- Conduct certificate, resident certificate and caste certificate where applicable.
- Odia pass certificate, if you qualify through the Middle School Odia test.
- Discharge certificate for ex-servicemen, disability certificate for PwD candidates, sportsperson identity card and NOC for government servants, as applicable.
- Bring originals along with self-attested copies. If an original is not produced, the candidature is rejected.
