The ASHA's share is for arranging antenatal checks and helping with institutional delivery, and is paid after the post-delivery visit and the child's BCG vaccination.

Who Is Eligible
- In Low Performing States (including Rajasthan), all pregnant women delivering at a government or accredited private institution. No age or number-of-children limit.
- In High Performing States, BPL, SC or ST women aged 19 and above, up to two deliveries.
- For delivery at an accredited private institution, a BPL or SC/ST certificate and a referral slip from the ASHA/ANM are required.
- The government does not bear the delivery cost at a private institution, only the fixed cash amount is given.

How the Benefit Reaches You
- Inform the ASHA worker or ANM about the pregnancy and register for antenatal care.
- Get at least three antenatal check-ups, a TT injection and iron-folic acid tablets.
- Deliver at the government or accredited institution identified in advance with the ASHA.
- If eligible, the amount comes by DBT into the bank account. It is paid only to the mother, not a relative.
- After delivery, have the ASHA's visit and the baby's BCG vaccination done.

कौन पात्र है
- कम प्रदर्शन वाले राज्यों (राजस्थान सहित) में सरकारी संस्थान या मान्यता प्राप्त निजी संस्थान में प्रसव कराने वाली सभी गर्भवती महिलाएँ। आयु या बच्चों की संख्या की सीमा नहीं।
- उच्च प्रदर्शन वाले राज्यों में BPL, अनुसूचित जाति या जनजाति की 19 वर्ष या अधिक आयु की महिलाएँ, अधिकतम दो प्रसव तक।
- मान्यता प्राप्त निजी संस्थान में प्रसव पर BPL या SC/ST प्रमाण पत्र और आशा/ANM की रेफ़रल पर्ची ज़रूरी।
- निजी संस्थान में प्रसव का खर्च सरकार वहन नहीं करती, केवल तय नकद राशि मिलती है।

लाभ कैसे मिलता है
- गर्भावस्था की जानकारी आशा कार्यकर्ता या ANM को दें और प्रसव पूर्व जाँच के लिए पंजीकरण कराएँ।
- कम से कम तीन प्रसव पूर्व जाँच, TT इंजेक्शन और आयरन-फोलिक एसिड की गोलियाँ लें।
- आशा के साथ पहले से तय सरकारी या मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थान में प्रसव कराएँ।
- पात्र होने पर राशि DBT से बैंक खाते में आती है। सिर्फ़ माँ को भुगतान होता है, किसी रिश्तेदार को नहीं।
- प्रसव के बाद आशा की भेंट और शिशु का BCG टीकाकरण कराएँ।
