Rajasthan Jan Aadhaar Yojana: Enrolment, e-KYC, Card Download, Status and Update Fees (2026)
Jan Aadhaar is Rajasthan's family identity card: one 10-digit number for the family and an 11-digit number for each member. Most state schemes ask for it, and benefits are paid directly to the bank account through it. This page explains who can enrol, documents, the online process, e-KYC, how to download the card and the new update fee rules that started on 1 June 2026.

Who Can Enrol and Who Is the Head
Eligibility
- All resident families of Rajasthan. A resident means someone who has lived in the state for at least 6 months.
- State government employees and pensioners living or working outside the state can also enrol.
Head of the family
- A woman aged 18 or more.
- If there is none, a man aged 21 or more.
- If there is neither, the eldest member of the family.
Other rules
- Aadhaar is needed for every member above 5 years.
- For children aged 5 or below, a birth certificate is needed (and a photo if e-KYC is done with it).
- A valid bank account in the name of the head of the family is mandatory.
- Details are entered in both Hindi and English.

How to Enrol Online
- Log in to sso.rajasthan.gov.in with your SSO ID and open the Jan Aadhaar app under Citizen Apps, or visit an e-Mitra centre.
- Enter the Aadhaar number of the proposed head of the family and complete Aadhaar authentication.
- Fill in the details of the head and every member and upload the documents.
- On the acknowledgement page, complete the e-Sign with an Aadhaar OTP. The application moves ahead only after this.
- Wait for two-level verification and bank verification.
- After verification, e-KYC and bank details are complete, the 10-digit family ID and 11-digit member IDs are issued.
Verification is done at two levels. In rural areas it is the Village Development Officer and then the Block Statistical Officer. In urban areas it is the local body officer and then the Sub Divisional Officer.
Check Status and Download the e-Card
- Open janaadhaar.rajasthan.gov.in and choose Jan Aadhaar Status to check an enrolment.
- For the e-card, log in with your SSO ID, open the Jan Aadhaar app and choose the e-card option, or visit an e-Mitra centre.
- Enter your Jan Aadhaar details and complete Aadhaar OTP authentication.
- Download the PDF. The Jan Aadhaar mobile app is also available.
PDF password
- The password is the first 4 letters of the head's name followed by the day and month of the head's birth. Example: head SANTOSH DEVI born on 20.01.1970 has password SANT2001.
Common status messages
- Pending at citizen: the e-Sign is not done. Log in and complete it.
- Bank NPCI pending: bank verification is in progress.
- Verified but no ID: e-KYC of the head or a member, or the head's bank details, are pending.
e-KYC and Updates
Jan Aadhaar e-KYC
- Aadhaar authentication of the head and every member above 5 years. It brings name, date of birth, gender and photo from Aadhaar.
- No edit is possible until e-KYC is done.
- Children under 5 can do e-KYC with a Rajasthan birth certificate.
- If Aadhaar has a wrong name or date of birth, correct it with UIDAI first.
What can be changed
- Details entered at enrolment, add a member, change the head, split a family, merge enrolments, transfer a member or a family, correct income, delete an enrolment.
- Death of a member: the name can be removed automatically if the Jan Aadhaar number was given while obtaining the death certificate.
- Removal for any reason other than death needs the second-level verifier's recommendation and the District Collector's approval.

Is Jan Aadhaar enrolment free?
- Yes. Enrolment, adding a member and downloading the e-card are free. Some later updates carry limits and fees as shown above.
Is e-KYC mandatory?
- Yes, for the head and every member above 5 years.
Is Jan Aadhaar the same as Aadhaar?
- No. Aadhaar identifies a person. Jan Aadhaar is a family record used for state schemes. It copies data from Aadhaar through e-KYC.
Do ration card details come from Jan Aadhaar?
- No. Ration card and NFSA status come from the Food Department.
Can I enrol through e-Mitra?
- Yes. Any e-Mitra centre can do enrolment, e-KYC, updates and e-card download.

कौन नामांकन करा सकता है और मुखिया कौन
पात्रता
- राजस्थान के सभी निवासी परिवार। निवासी का मतलब है जो राज्य में कम से कम 6 माह से रह रहा हो।
- राज्य के बाहर रहने या काम करने वाले राज्य सरकार के कर्मचारी और पेंशनर भी नामांकन करा सकते हैं।
परिवार का मुखिया
- 18 वर्ष या उससे अधिक आयु की महिला।
- अगर ऐसी महिला न हो तो 21 वर्ष या उससे अधिक आयु का पुरुष।
- दोनों न हों तो परिवार का सबसे बड़ा सदस्य।
अन्य नियम
- 5 वर्ष से ऊपर के हर सदस्य का आधार जरूरी है।
- 5 वर्ष या उससे कम के बच्चों के लिए जन्म प्रमाण पत्र चाहिए (और उससे e-KYC हो तो फोटो भी)।
- मुखिया के नाम पर वैध बैंक खाता अनिवार्य है।
- जानकारी हिंदी और अंग्रेजी दोनों में भरी जाती है।

ऑनलाइन नामांकन कैसे करें
- sso.rajasthan.gov.in पर अपनी SSO ID से लॉगिन करके सिटीजन ऐप्स में जन आधार ऐप खोलें, या ई-मित्र केंद्र जाएं।
- प्रस्तावित मुखिया का आधार नंबर डालें और आधार प्रमाणीकरण पूरा करें।
- मुखिया और हर सदस्य की जानकारी भरें और दस्तावेज अपलोड करें।
- पावती पेज पर आधार OTP से e-Sign पूरा करें। इसके बाद ही आवेदन आगे बढ़ता है।
- दो स्तर के सत्यापन और बैंक सत्यापन का इंतजार करें।
- सत्यापन, e-KYC और बैंक विवरण पूरे होने पर 10 अंकों की परिवार आईडी और 11 अंकों की सदस्य आईडी जारी हो जाती हैं।
सत्यापन दो स्तर पर होता है। ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में पहले ग्राम विकास अधिकारी और फिर खंड सांख्यिकी अधिकारी। शहरी क्षेत्र में स्थानीय निकाय का अधिकारी और फिर उपखंड अधिकारी।

- janaadhaar.rajasthan.gov.in खोलें और नामांकन की स्थिति के लिए Jan Aadhaar Status चुनें।
- ई-कार्ड के लिए अपनी SSO ID से लॉगिन करके जन आधार ऐप में ई-कार्ड का विकल्प चुनें, या ई-मित्र केंद्र जाएं।
- जन आधार की जानकारी डालें और आधार OTP से प्रमाणीकरण पूरा करें।
- PDF डाउनलोड करें। जन आधार का मोबाइल ऐप भी उपलब्ध है।
PDF का पासवर्ड
- पासवर्ड है मुखिया के नाम के पहले 4 अक्षर और उसके बाद मुखिया की जन्म तिथि का दिन व माह। उदाहरण: मुखिया SANTOSH DEVI, जन्म 20.01.1970, तो पासवर्ड SANT2001।
स्टेटस के आम संदेश
- Pending at citizen: e-Sign नहीं हुआ है। लॉगिन करके पूरा करें।
- Bank NPCI pending: बैंक सत्यापन चल रहा है।
- Verified but no ID: मुखिया या किसी सदस्य का e-KYC, या मुखिया का बैंक विवरण बाकी है।
e-KYC और अपडेट
जन आधार e-KYC
- मुखिया और 5 वर्ष से ऊपर के हर सदस्य का आधार प्रमाणीकरण। इससे नाम, जन्म तिथि, लिंग और फोटो आधार से आ जाते हैं।
- e-KYC होने तक कोई बदलाव नहीं हो सकता।
- 5 वर्ष से छोटे बच्चों का e-KYC राजस्थान के जन्म प्रमाण पत्र से हो सकता है।
- आधार में नाम या जन्म तिथि गलत हो तो पहले UIDAI से सुधारें।
क्या-क्या बदल सकते हैं
- नामांकन में दी गई जानकारी, सदस्य जोड़ना, मुखिया बदलना, परिवार का विभाजन, नामांकनों का विलय, सदस्य या परिवार का स्थानांतरण, आय सुधार, नामांकन हटाना।
- सदस्य की मृत्यु: मृत्यु प्रमाण पत्र बनवाते समय जन आधार नंबर दिया हो तो नाम अपने आप हट सकता है।
- मृत्यु के अलावा किसी कारण से हटाने के लिए द्वितीय स्तर के सत्यापनकर्ता की अनुशंसा और जिला कलेक्टर की मंजूरी चाहिए।
