This scheme (also called the Rajasthan Small Commercial Vehicle Self-Employment Scheme) helps unemployed youth start their own transport work. The state gives a subsidy of 10 percent of the on-road price or Rs 60,000, whichever is lower, on a new small commercial vehicle costing up to Rs 15 lakh. Who Is Eligible
Conditions
- Permanent resident of Rajasthan.
- Age between 18 and 45 years.
- Only one person from a family can take the benefit, and only one vehicle per person.
- On-road price of the vehicle must not exceed Rs 15 lakh.
- The vehicle must be a small commercial vehicle below 7,500 kg.

- Tractors and vehicles with more than 4 wheels.
- Mini buses and buses.
- Mini trucks and road rollers.

How to Apply
- Buy an eligible vehicle from an authorised dealer of an approved maker. Apply only after the purchase.
- Register on the Rajasthan SSO portal (sso.rajasthan.gov.in) if you do not have an SSO ID, or log in if you do.
- In Citizen Apps open the icon of this scheme and click Application List.
- Fill in your details and the vehicle details, and upload the documents.
- Pay the Rs 100 application fee and submit the form.
- The application is checked by the concerned authority and the District Industries and Commerce Centre.
- After successful verification the subsidy is credited to your bank account within 10 days.
The application must be made within 30 days of buying the vehicle. Applications received later are treated as rejected. If you cannot apply yourself, an e-Mitra centre can help.
