Basic conditions

• The applicant must be a native (mool niwasi) of Rajasthan and must hold a graduate degree.
• A woman married to a native of Rajasthan is also eligible if she holds a graduate degree.
• The applicant must be registered with the local employment office before applying.
• The applicant must not be working in any government, non-government or private job, and must not be self-employed.
• The applicant must not have been dismissed from any government department or institution.
• At most 2 people from one family can get the allowance.

Age limit

• Up to 30 years for general applicants.
• Up to 35 years for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, transgender, women and differently-abled applicants.

Who is not eligible

• Youth who are still studying after graduation.
• Youth already getting any other allowance, scholarship or help under a central or state scheme.
• Families with annual income above Rs 2 lakh.
• Anyone who already received allowance under the earlier Akshat Yojana 2007, Akshat Kaushal Yojana 2009 or Yuva Sambal Yojana 2019.
• People who are working in a government department or institution, or who have their own work.
• People who have criminal cases against them.

• Marriage certificate, for a woman from another state married in Rajasthan
• Skill training certificate

• The training lasts 3 months and is compulsory.
• It counts only if it is from RSLDC or an institute recognised by it.
• Youth with professional qualifications such as B.Ed, B.Tech, MBBS, B.Sc Nursing, B.Pharma or a diploma do not need the training.
• The allowance is released only after you upload the skill training certificate or your professional course certificate on the portal.
• You must also upload an attendance certificate every month.

• The internship is compulsory for every beneficiary and is done in a state government department or undertaking.
• You must give 4 hours every day. It lasts up to 2 years, as long as the allowance continues.
• If you stop the internship before the 2 years are over, the allowance also stops.
• Missing 1 day in a month does not cut your allowance. For longer absence, the allowance is reduced proportionately as per rules.
• Each month, upload your internship certificate from your own SSO ID on the portal.
• The district employment office checks the uploaded certificate and then pays the allowance.
• You must wear the T-shirt or jacket given to you during duty.
• The internship certificate is only for claiming the allowance. It does not give any preference in jobs.

How much allowance do I get?

• Rs 4,000 per month for male applicants and Rs 4,500 per month for female, transgender and differently-abled applicants.

For how long is the allowance paid?

• Up to 2 years. It stops earlier if you get a job or start your own work.

Can I get the allowance without an internship or training?

• No. You must do the skill training or hold a professional qualification, and you must do the internship.

Is registration at the employment office needed?

• Yes. You must be registered with the local employment office before applying.

Can two members of one family apply?

• Yes. At most 2 people from a family can get the allowance.

What is the age limit?

• 30 years in general. It is 35 years for SC, ST, transgender, women and differently-abled applicants.
