Rajasthan One Rupee per Kg Wheat Scheme: Wheat Ration for Antyodaya, BPL and State BPL Families (Present Status)
Rajasthan's one rupee per kilo wheat scheme was started in 2019 to give wheat at Re 1 per kg to Antyodaya, BPL and State BPL ration card holders. Today these families are covered through the National Food Security Act (NFSA), and the Government of India has also been giving NFSA grain free under the PMGKAY scheme. Things to keep in mind
- Ration cards are checked for e-KYC and Aadhaar seeding. Members without e-KYC may lose the ration.
- The Rajasthan Food Department has run a campaign (from November 2024) asking capable and ineligible people to voluntarily give up NFSA benefits.
- Jan Aadhaar is required for ration card services in Rajasthan.

How to Apply
- Make sure your family has a Jan Aadhaar. If not, enrol first at janaadhaar.rajasthan.gov.in or an e-Mitra centre.
- For a new ration card or changes, apply through the SSO portal or visit the nearest e-Mitra centre with your documents.
- Fill in the details of the family and members as asked and upload the documents.
- Complete Aadhaar seeding / e-KYC of all members.
- Check your NFSA status on the Jan Soochna portal or the Food Department portal.
- Once the card is active, collect the monthly ration from your fair price shop and keep the receipt.
The old process of applying offline through a CSC centre may still exist in some places. Online services through SSO and e-Mitra are now the main route.

आवेदन कैसे करें

- नए राशन कार्ड या बदलाव के लिए SSO पोर्टल से आवेदन करें या दस्तावेजों के साथ नजदीकी ई-मित्र केंद्र जाएं।
- परिवार और सदस्यों की जानकारी मांगे अनुसार भरें और दस्तावेज अपलोड करें।
- सभी सदस्यों की आधार सीडिंग / e-KYC पूरी करें।

सीएससी केंद्र से ऑफलाइन आवेदन की पुरानी प्रक्रिया कुछ जगह अब भी हो सकती है। अब मुख्य रास्ता SSO और ई-मित्र से ऑनलाइन सेवाएं हैं।
