Rajiv Gandhi Krishak Sathi Sahayata Yojana: Up to Rs 2 Lakh Aid for Farm Accidents

Who Is Eligible
- Farmers, farm workers, and hammals and palledars working in mandis.
- Native resident of Rajasthan aged 14 to 75 years.
Situations Covered
- Using farm machinery, including chaff cutters (scalping)
- Digging a well or installing a tubewell
- Electric shock from a tubewell or a power line over the field
- Spraying chemicals in the field
- Attack or bite by wild, domestic or stray animals during farm work
- Accidents with tractor, bullock, camel or buffalo carts to or from the field or while taking produce to market
- Lightning, falling trees in rain or cyclone, drowning in a farm pond or tank
- Accidents while harvesting, threshing, stacking sacks or working in the mandi or state purchase centres
- Broken spine or coma from head injury at work
- Trimming trees to guard the field or graze animals
What Is Not Covered
- Death or disability from illness, suicide, intoxicants, or during medical treatment or operation.
- Accidents caused by breaking the Motor Vehicles Act or any other law.
- Pregnancy or childbirth.
- Nuclear weapons, war, civil war or treason.
- Death occurring more than 90 days after the accident.
Documents Required
- Jan Aadhaar or Bhamashah card, Aadhaar card, copy of bank passbook
- For death: FIR, postmortem report, death certificate
- For injury: certificate from a government or private medical officer
- For snake or poisonous animal bite deaths, a panchnama and a government doctor's certificate are accepted instead of an FIR.
How to Apply Online
- Open the Raj Kisan portal and choose the Rajiv Gandhi Krishak/Kisan Sathi Sahayata Yojana.
- Enter your Jan Aadhaar or Bhamashah number and click your name.
- Verify the OTP sent to the registered mobile number.
- Fill in the applicant details (mandi name, name, Aadhaar, father's name, date of birth, age, address, email), then the victim's details, bank details and witness details.
- Upload the required documents and submit.
- Officials verify the application and decide within one month. If approved, payment comes within 15 days by account payee cheque or demand draft.
How to Apply Offline
- Collect the application form from your area's Mandi Samiti office.
- Fill it in completely and attach the documents listed above.
- Submit it at the Mandi Samiti office. It is checked and sent to the State Agricultural Marketing Board.
- A decision is taken within one month and the amount is paid within 15 days of approval.
Important Rules
- Apply within 6 months of the accident or death. After 6 months you can apply with the reason for delay.
- No application is accepted after 15 months in any case.
- Persons above 75 years are not eligible.
- Government doctors include allopathic, ayurvedic and homeopathic doctors.

- कृषि यंत्र या कुट्टी मशीन चलाते समय (डी-स्कैल्पिंग सहित)
- कुआँ खोदते या ट्यूबवेल लगाते समय
- ट्यूबवेल या खेत से गुज़रती बिजली लाइन से करंट
- खेत में रासायनिक दवा छिड़कते समय
- कृषि कार्य में वन्य, पालतू या आवारा जानवर के हमले या काटने से
- खेत आते-जाते या उपज लाते-ले जाते समय ट्रैक्टर, बैल, ऊँट या भैंसा गाड़ी की दुर्घटना
- आकाशीय बिजली, बारिश-चक्रवात में पेड़ गिरना, खेत की डिग्गी या टांके में डूबना
- कटाई, अनाज निकालने, बोरियों की ढाँग लगाने या मंडी और राज्य क्रय केंद्र में काम करते समय
- काम के दौरान रीढ़ टूटना या सिर की चोट से कोमा
- खेत की रखवाली या पशु चराई के लिए पेड़ की छँटाई करते समय
किन स्थितियों में सहायता नहीं मिलेगी
- बीमारी, आत्महत्या, नशे या इलाज/ऑपरेशन के दौरान हुई मृत्यु या अपंगता।
- मोटर वाहन अधिनियम या किसी अन्य कानून के उल्लंघन से हुई दुर्घटना।
- गर्भावस्था या प्रसव से जुड़ी क्षति।
- परमाणु हथियार, युद्ध, गृहयुद्ध या देशद्रोह।
- दुर्घटना और मृत्यु की तारीख में 90 दिन से अधिक का अंतर।
आवश्यक दस्तावेज़
- जन आधार या भामाशाह कार्ड, आधार कार्ड, बैंक पासबुक की प्रति
- मृत्यु पर: एफआईआर, पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट, मृत्यु प्रमाण पत्र
- घायल होने पर: सरकारी या निजी चिकित्सा अधिकारी का प्रमाण पत्र
- सर्प या ज़हरीले जानवर के काटने से मृत्यु पर एफआईआर की जगह पंचनामा और राजकीय चिकित्सक का प्रमाण पत्र मान्य है।
ऑनलाइन आवेदन कैसे करें
- राजकिसान पोर्टल पर जाकर राजीव गांधी कृषक/किसान साथी सहायता योजना चुनें।
- जन आधार या भामाशाह नंबर डालकर अपने नाम पर क्लिक करें।
- रजिस्टर्ड मोबाइल पर आया OTP सत्यापित करें।
- आवेदक का विवरण (मंडी का नाम, नाम, आधार, पिता का नाम, जन्मतिथि, आयु, पता, ईमेल), फिर पीड़ित, बैंक और गवाह का विवरण भरें।
- ज़रूरी दस्तावेज़ अपलोड करके सबमिट करें।
- अधिकारी जाँच करके एक माह में निर्णय लेते हैं। स्वीकृत होने पर 15 दिन में अकाउंट पेयी चेक या डिमांड ड्राफ्ट से भुगतान होता है।
ऑफलाइन आवेदन कैसे करें
- अपने क्षेत्र की मंडी समिति कार्यालय से आवेदन पत्र लें।
- पूरा भरकर ऊपर बताए दस्तावेज़ संलग्न करें।
- मंडी समिति कार्यालय में जमा करें। प्रारंभिक जाँच के बाद इसे राज्य कृषि विपणन बोर्ड भेजा जाता है।
- एक माह में निर्णय होता है और स्वीकृति के 15 दिन में राशि मिलती है।
महत्वपूर्ण नियम
- दुर्घटना या मृत्यु के 6 माह के भीतर आवेदन करें। 6 माह बाद देरी का कारण लिखकर भी आवेदन हो सकता है।
- 15 माह बाद किसी भी हाल में आवेदन स्वीकार नहीं होगा।
- 75 वर्ष से ऊपर के व्यक्ति पात्र नहीं हैं।
- राजकीय डॉक्टर में एलोपैथी, आयुर्वेदिक और होम्योपैथी के सरकारी डॉक्टर शामिल हैं।
