Mukhyamantri Nishulk Nirogi Rajasthan Yojana: Free Medicines and Tests in Government Hospitals
This scheme gives Rajasthan residents free medicines, free tests and free surgical items at government health institutions, for both OPD and admitted patients. It merges the earlier Free Medicine and Free Test schemes. Here is how to use it.

Who Is Eligible
- Native resident of Rajasthan.
- Holder of a Jan Aadhaar card, Bhamashah card or Aadhaar card.
- If you have no Jan Aadhaar, the hospital superintendent or chief medical officer may allow you on a written consent and ID, on condition that you get a Jan Aadhaar made quickly.
Medicines Available
- The essential drug list covers 591 medicines, 73 surgical items and 77 sutures, and is being expanded.
- Special medicines include cancer (30), heart disease (35), diabetes (13) and asthma/respiratory (12), plus kidney, stroke, arthritis, eye, liver, blood pressure and vitamins.
- Duration: normally 3 days of medicine, up to 7 days in special cases, and up to one month for long-term patients and pensioners.
- OPD patients get medicines at the dispensing counter during OPD hours. Admitted and emergency patients get them round the clock.
How to Get Free Treatment
- Go to any government hospital or health centre in Rajasthan with your Jan Aadhaar, Bhamashah or Aadhaar card.
- Your slip is entered in the e-Aushadhi software so your treatment record is kept.
- Show the slip to the doctor.
- The doctor examines you and orders free tests. The hospital itself gives you the free medicines.
No separate application is needed anywhere.

कौन पात्र है
- राजस्थान का मूल निवासी।
- जन आधार, भामाशाह या आधार कार्ड धारक।
- जन आधार न होने पर अधीक्षक या प्रमुख चिकित्सा अधिकारी सहमति पत्र और पहचान पत्र के आधार पर छूट दे सकते हैं, इस शर्त पर कि आप जल्दी जन आधार बनवा लेंगे।
उपलब्ध दवाएँ
- आवश्यक दवा सूची में 591 दवाएँ, 73 सर्जिकल आइटम और 77 सूचर हैं, और सूची बढ़ाई जा रही है।
- विशेष दवाओं में कैंसर (30), हृदय रोग (35), डायबिटीज (13), श्वास-दमा (12) के साथ गुर्दा, ब्रेन स्ट्रोक, आर्थराइटिस, नेत्र, लिवर, बीपी और विटामिन की दवाएँ भी हैं।
- अवधि: सामान्यतः 3 दिन की दवा, विशेष स्थिति में 7 दिन तक, और लंबी बीमारी के रोगियों व पेंशनर्स को एक माह तक।
- OPD रोगियों को OPD समय में दवा वितरण केंद्र पर और भर्ती व आपातकालीन रोगियों को हर समय दवा मिलती है।
निःशुल्क इलाज कैसे पाएँ
- जन आधार, भामाशाह या आधार कार्ड लेकर राजस्थान के किसी भी सरकारी अस्पताल या स्वास्थ्य केंद्र जाएँ।
- आपकी पर्ची ई-औषधि सॉफ्टवेयर में दर्ज होती है ताकि इलाज का रिकॉर्ड रहे।
- पर्ची दिखाकर डॉक्टर से मिलें।
- डॉक्टर जाँच करते हैं और निःशुल्क जाँच लिखते हैं। निःशुल्क दवाएँ अस्पताल से ही मिलती हैं।
कहीं अलग से आवेदन की ज़रूरत नहीं है।
