Mukhyamantri Uchch Shiksha Chhatravritti Yojana: Rs 5,000 a Year for Meritorious Students
This merit-based scholarship gives students from low-income families Rs 500 a month for up to 10 months (Rs 5,000 a year), and up to Rs 10,000 a year for students with 40% or more disability, for up to 5 years. Applications for 2026-27 are open now.

- The College Education Department opened the 2026-27 scholarship portal through a notification dated 28 September 2026.
- You can apply online from 1 October 2026 to 30 November 2026. Applications are open at present.

Key Benefits

Who Is Eligible
- Native resident of Rajasthan.
- Passed Class 12 from RBSE Ajmer in the same year with at least 60% marks.
- Among the first one lakh students in the board's merit list.
- Parents' or guardian's annual income not more than Rs 2.50 lakh.
- Studying regularly in a government or recognised private higher or technical institution in Rajasthan.
- Not receiving any other central or state scholarship or similar benefit.
- Savings account in a nationalised bank, plus Aadhaar and Jan Aadhaar.
- For the disability category: a 40% disability certificate from the Medical Board.
Documents Required
- Class 12 RBSE marksheet or result details
- Income certificate of parent or guardian (up to Rs 2.50 lakh)
- Aadhaar card and Jan Aadhaar card
- Bank account details of a nationalised bank
- Rajasthan domicile details, and category details where applicable
- Mobile number updated in Jan Aadhaar
- Self-attested 40% disability certificate from the Medical Board (disabled students only)
- Affidavit that you do not receive any other scholarship (format on the department's scholarship portal)
How to Apply Online
- Before starting, update your caste, domicile, bank account and mobile number details in Jan Aadhaar.
- Go to the Rajasthan SSO portal and log in with your SSO ID and password. Register first if you do not have one.
- Open the scholarship section and choose Scholarship (CE).
- Select the Mukhyamantri Uchch Shiksha Chhatravritti Yojana from the list.
- Enter your Jan Aadhaar number and check the details fetched.
- Fill in your Class 12 details, current college and course, income and bank details.
- Upload the required documents, including the disability certificate if applying in that category.
- Check everything carefully and submit. Keep a printout or copy of the application.
Verification and Approval
- The head of your institution matches the uploaded documents with the originals.
- After verification, the institution forwards the application online to the District Nodal Officer by the set date.
- The department then approves the scholarship for eligible students.
- If an application is rejected due to a mistake or missing information, the responsibility is the student's, so fill in all details carefully.

- बोर्ड की मेरिट सूची में प्रथम एक लाख विद्यार्थियों में स्थान हो।
- माता-पिता या अभिभावक की वार्षिक आय ₹2.50 लाख से अधिक न हो।
- राजस्थान के किसी सरकारी या मान्यता प्राप्त निजी उच्च/तकनीकी संस्थान में नियमित अध्ययन कर रहा हो।
- केंद्र या राज्य सरकार की किसी अन्य छात्रवृत्ति या समान लाभ का लाभ न ले रहा हो।
- राष्ट्रीयकृत बैंक में बचत खाता, साथ ही आधार और जन आधार।

ऑनलाइन आवेदन कैसे करें
- शुरू करने से पहले जन आधार में जाति, मूल निवास, बैंक खाते और मोबाइल नंबर का विवरण अपडेट कर लें।
- राजस्थान SSO पोर्टल पर SSO ID और पासवर्ड से लॉगिन करें। न हो तो पहले पंजीकरण करें।
- छात्रवृत्ति सेक्शन में जाकर Scholarship (CE) चुनें।
- सूची से मुख्यमंत्री उच्च शिक्षा छात्रवृत्ति योजना चुनें।
- जन आधार नंबर डालें और मिले हुए विवरण की जाँच करें।
- कक्षा 12 का विवरण, वर्तमान कॉलेज व पाठ्यक्रम, आय और बैंक खाते की जानकारी भरें।
- माँगे गए दस्तावेज़ अपलोड करें। दिव्यांग श्रेणी में हों तो दिव्यांगता प्रमाण पत्र भी अपलोड करें।
- सब कुछ ध्यान से जाँचकर सबमिट करें। आवेदन का प्रिंटआउट या कॉपी सुरक्षित रखें।
सत्यापन और स्वीकृति
- संस्थान प्रमुख अपलोड किए दस्तावेज़ों का मूल दस्तावेज़ों से मिलान करता है।
- सत्यापन के बाद संस्थान निर्धारित तिथि तक आवेदन ऑनलाइन जिला नोडल अधिकारी को भेजता है।
- इसके बाद विभाग पात्र विद्यार्थियों की छात्रवृत्ति स्वीकृत करता है।
- आवेदन में गलती या जानकारी की कमी से अस्वीकृत होने पर ज़िम्मेदारी विद्यार्थी की होगी, इसलिए सभी विवरण सावधानी से भरें।
