Rajasthan Tarbandi Yojana: Farm Fencing Subsidy, Eligibility, Documents and Online Application
To protect crops from nilgai, wild animals and stray cattle, farmers get a subsidy for barbed-wire or chain-link fencing of their fields under the Rajasthan Fasal Suraksha Mission. How Much Subsidy Is Paid

Subsidy is paid for a maximum of 400 running metres. If the field boundary is shorter than 400 metres, the subsidy is paid in proportion. Fencing beyond that length is done by the farmer at their own cost. No subsidy is given again on a side of the field that is already fenced.
Eligibility
Main conditions
- The farmer must be a resident of Rajasthan.
- At least 0.5 hectare (about 2 bigha) of land at one place. Earlier this limit was 1.5 hectares.
- Farmers can apply individually or as a group.
- The farmer must pay the fencing cost from their own money or a bank loan. The subsidy is paid afterwards.
Fencing Specifications
- Place poles about 15 feet apart.
- Use 5 horizontal barbed wires and 2 cross wires. Chain-link mesh can also be used.
- Do PCC at the base of iron or cement poles for strength.
- No electric current may be passed through the fencing.
- Geotagging is done before and after the work.
- Keep the expense bills safe and maintain the fence yourself after the subsidy.

How to Apply on the Raj Kisan Saathi Portal
- Open the Raj Kisan Saathi portal and select the Tarbandi Yojana.
- Enter your Jan Aadhaar or Bhamashah number and choose your name from the list.
- Verify with the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
- Fill in all the details in the online form.
- Upload scanned copies of the required documents and give your consent.
- Submit the form and keep the online receipt safe.
- You are told about acceptance or selection by SMS and on the portal.
How to Apply Through an e-Mitra Centre
- Visit the nearest e-Mitra centre with all your documents.
- The kiosk operator fills in your details and uploads scanned copies of the documents.
- You are given a receipt for the application.
- Officials check the application and documents, approve it, and you are informed by SMS or on the portal.
From Approval to Payment
- The Assistant Agriculture Officer or Agriculture Supervisor decides the field boundary during pre-verification.
- Start the fencing work only after you get administrative sanction.
- After the work is done, the Agriculture Supervisor does the physical verification and records it on the portal.
- After financial sanction, the subsidy is credited to the farmer's bank account.
Earlier guidelines mentioned timelines such as 7 days for document checks, 10 days for site checks, 60 days to finish the work and 7 days for financial sanction after verification. Check the current year's timelines on the portal.

अनुदान अधिकतम 400 रनिंग मीटर तक मिलता है। खेत की परिधि 400 मीटर से कम हो तो अनुदान अनुपात के हिसाब से मिलता है। इससे ज़्यादा लंबाई की तारबंदी किसान अपने खर्च पर कराता है। खेत की जिस तरफ़ पहले से तारबंदी है, वहाँ दोबारा अनुदान नहीं मिलता।
पात्रता
मुख्य शर्तें
- किसान राजस्थान का निवासी हो।
- एक ही जगह कम से कम 0.5 हेक्टेयर (लगभग 2 बीघा) भूमि हो। पहले यह सीमा 1.5 हेक्टेयर थी।
- किसान व्यक्तिगत रूप से या समूह बनाकर आवेदन कर सकते हैं।
- तारबंदी का खर्च किसान स्वयं या बैंक ऋण लेकर करे। इसके बाद ही अनुदान मिलता है।
तारबंदी कैसे करनी है
- खंभे लगभग 15 फ़ीट की दूरी पर लगाएँ।
- 5 कांटेदार तार आड़े और 2 तार क्रॉस लगाएँ। चैनलिंक जाली भी लगा सकते हैं।
- लोहे या सीमेंट के खंभों की मज़बूती के लिए ज़मीन में PCC कराएँ।
- तारबंदी में बिजली का करंट नहीं छोड़ा जाएगा।
- काम से पहले और बाद में जियोटैगिंग होती है।
- खर्च के बिल सँभालकर रखें और अनुदान के बाद तारबंदी की देखभाल स्वयं करें।

- राज किसान साथी पोर्टल खोलें और तारबंदी योजना चुनें।
- जन आधार या भामाशाह नंबर दर्ज करें और सूची से अपना नाम चुनें।
- रजिस्टर्ड मोबाइल नंबर पर आया OTP डालकर सत्यापन करें।
- ऑनलाइन फॉर्म में सारी जानकारी भरें।
- ज़रूरी दस्तावेज़ों की स्कैन कॉपी अपलोड करें और सहमति दें।
- फॉर्म जमा करें और ऑनलाइन रसीद सँभालकर रखें।

मंज़ूरी से भुगतान तक की प्रक्रिया
- सहायक कृषि अधिकारी या कृषि पर्यवेक्षक प्री-वेरिफिकेशन में खेत की परिधि तय करते हैं।
- प्रशासनिक स्वीकृति मिलने के बाद ही तारबंदी का काम शुरू करें।
- काम पूरा होने पर कृषि पर्यवेक्षक भौतिक सत्यापन करके पोर्टल पर दर्ज करते हैं।
- वित्तीय स्वीकृति के बाद अनुदान राशि किसान के बैंक खाते में जमा होती है।
पिछले दिशानिर्देशों में दस्तावेज़ जाँच 7 दिन, मौक़े की जाँच 10 दिन, काम 60 दिन में पूरा करना और सत्यापन के बाद 7 दिन में वित्तीय स्वीकृति जैसी समय-सीमाएँ बताई गई थीं। चालू वर्ष की समय-सीमाएँ पोर्टल पर देखें।
