Rajasthan Indira Gandhi Matritva Poshan Yojana: Rs 6,000 for the Second Child, Eligibility, Instalments and Registration
Under this scheme a pregnant woman expecting her second child receives financial support of Rs 6,000 in total, paid in five instalments straight into her bank account. The scheme is paperless and you do not have to apply separately for each instalment. Registration is done by the ANM or Anganwadi worker. Eligibility
Main conditions
- The pregnant woman must be a permanent resident of Rajasthan.
- She must be pregnant with her second child.
- The pregnancy must have begun on or after 1 April 2022.
- She must have a Jan Aadhaar card or a Bhamashah card.
Who does not get the benefit
- A woman in regular employment with the Central or State Government or a public sector undertaking.
- A woman already receiving a similar benefit under any other applicable law.
Special provisions
- If a woman has a miscarriage, medical termination of pregnancy (MTP) or a stillbirth after registering, and it is recorded on the PCTS portal, she remains eligible in a future pregnancy even if she has already received all instalments.
- Pregnant or breastfeeding Anganwadi workers, helpers, ASHA Sahyogini and Saathin can also get the benefit if they meet the conditions.

Registration and How to Get the Benefit
- Meet the ANM or Anganwadi worker in your area and register under the scheme.
- Carry your Jan Aadhaar card, Aadhaar card, bank passbook and mobile number at the time of registration.
- The ANM or Anganwadi worker takes your details and sends them to the district office of the Medical and Health Department.
- The Health Department uploads these details on the PCTS portal.
- As each stage is completed, the instalment is credited directly to your bank account. Payment should reach you within 30 days of each stage.
- You can ask the ANM or Anganwadi worker in your area about the status of your registration or instalment.
Registration is simple and paperless. You do not need to submit a separate application form for each instalment.
Tips to Get the Full Amount
- Get your pregnancy registered and the first check-up done within 120 days.
- Complete all antenatal check-ups on time and get them recorded in the Mamta card.
- Deliver at a government or listed hospital.
- Get all routine vaccines for the child on time and register the birth.
- Keep the mobile number and bank account in Jan Aadhaar correct and active.

पात्रता
मुख्य शर्तें
- गर्भवती महिला राजस्थान की स्थायी निवासी हो।
- महिला दूसरी संतान से गर्भवती हो।
- गर्भावस्था 1 अप्रैल 2022 को या उसके बाद शुरू हुई हो।
- महिला के पास जन आधार कार्ड या भामाशाह कार्ड हो।
इन्हें लाभ नहीं मिलेगा
- जो महिला केंद्र या राज्य सरकार या सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उपक्रम में नियमित रूप से नौकरी में है।
- जो किसी अन्य लागू कानून के तहत ऐसा ही लाभ पा रही है।
विशेष प्रावधान
- पंजीकरण के बाद गर्भपात, चिकित्सकीय गर्भ समाप्ति (MTP) या मृत शिशु का जन्म होने पर, यदि यह PCTS पोर्टल पर दर्ज हो, तो महिला अगली गर्भावस्था में भी लाभ के लिए पात्र रहती है, भले ही पहले सभी किश्तें मिल चुकी हों।
- शर्तें पूरी करने पर गर्भवती या स्तनपान कराने वाली आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्ता, सहायिका, आशा सहयोगिनी और साथिन भी लाभ ले सकती हैं।

पंजीकरण और लाभ लेने की प्रक्रिया
- अपने क्षेत्र की ANM या आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्ता से मिलकर योजना में पंजीकरण कराएँ।
- पंजीकरण के समय जन आधार कार्ड, आधार कार्ड, बैंक पासबुक और मोबाइल नंबर साथ रखें।
- ANM या आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्ता आपका विवरण लेकर चिकित्सा एवं स्वास्थ्य विभाग के जिला कार्यालय को भेजती हैं।
- स्वास्थ्य विभाग यह विवरण PCTS पोर्टल पर दर्ज करता है।
- हर चरण पूरा होने पर किश्त की राशि सीधे आपके बैंक खाते में आती है। हर चरण के 30 दिन के भीतर भुगतान मिल जाना चाहिए।
- आवेदन या किश्त की स्थिति अपने क्षेत्र की ANM या आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्ता से पूछ सकती हैं।
