Rajasthan Nirman Shramik Shiksha and Kaushal Vikas Yojana: Scholarship, Cash Awards, Eligibility and Application
Children and the wife of a registered construction worker get a scholarship of Rs 8,000 to Rs 35,000 per year for studies. Meritorious students also get a cash award of Rs 4,000 to Rs 1,00,000. The scheme combines the Education Assistance (Scholarship) scheme, the cash award scheme for meritorious students and the Kaushal Shakti Yojana. - Latest update: Applications for these Labour Department schemes are now made through the department's LDMS system on the SSO portal. First get registered or renewed with the BOCW Board as a worker, then apply separately for the scheme in LDMS under Welfare Schemes → BOCW Welfare Board.
- For worker registration the age must be 18 to 60 years and you must have done at least 90 days of construction work in the last 12 months.

You must take admission in the next class to get the scholarship. After passing the final exam from Class 12 up to postgraduate level, admission in a next class is not needed.

Eligibility
Main conditions
- The applicant must be a domicile of Rajasthan.
- Only the wife, son or daughter of a worker registered with the Construction Workers Board is eligible.
- The applicant must be studying in a class between Class 6 and postgraduate level. ITI, polytechnic, diploma, graduation and postgraduate students must study in a government or recognised private institution.
- A maximum of 2 children, or one child and the wife, of a worker are eligible. If both husband and wife are registered workers, a maximum of 2 children are eligible.
- If the wife is the applicant, her age must not exceed 35 years.
- Family members of a worker who has not paid the contribution continuously for one year are not eligible.
Condition for cash awards
- At least 75% marks or equivalent grade in Class 8 to 12.
- 60% or more marks or equivalent grade in diploma, graduation and postgraduate exams.

How to Apply Online
- Register on the Rajasthan SSO portal using Jan Aadhaar or a Google ID. You need to enter your name and mobile number.
- Log in with your user ID and password and open LDMS.
- Under Welfare Schemes → BOCW Welfare Board choose the Nirman Shramik Shiksha and Kaushal Vikas Yojana.
- Fill in all the details in the application form.
- Upload all the required documents and submit the application.
- Officials check the application and, if everything is correct, the scholarship or award amount is paid into the bank account.
For an offline application, take the form from the Labour Department office, fill it in and submit it there with all documents. You must apply within 6 months of passing the class or course.

पात्रता
मुख्य शर्तें
- आवेदक राजस्थान का मूल निवासी हो।
- निर्माण श्रमिक बोर्ड में पंजीकृत श्रमिक की पत्नी, पुत्र या पुत्री ही पात्र हैं।
- आवेदक कक्षा 6 से स्नातकोत्तर के बीच किसी कक्षा में पढ़ रहा हो। ITI, पॉलिटेक्निक, डिप्लोमा, स्नातक और स्नातकोत्तर के विद्यार्थी सरकारी या मान्यता प्राप्त निजी संस्थान में पढ़ रहे हों।
- एक श्रमिक के अधिकतम 2 बच्चे, या एक बच्चा और पत्नी, पात्र होंगे। पति-पत्नी दोनों पंजीकृत श्रमिक हों तो अधिकतम 2 बच्चे पात्र होंगे।
- पत्नी आवेदक हो तो उसकी आयु 35 वर्ष से अधिक न हो।
- जिस श्रमिक ने लगातार एक वर्ष से अंशदान जमा नहीं किया है, उसके परिवार के सदस्य पात्र नहीं हैं।
नकद पुरस्कार की शर्त
- कक्षा 8 से 12 में कम से कम 75% अंक या समकक्ष ग्रेड।
- डिप्लोमा, स्नातक और स्नातकोत्तर में 60% या अधिक अंक या समकक्ष ग्रेड।
