राजस्थान मुख्यमंत्री राजश्री योजना

• The parents of the girl must be natives (mool niwasi) of Rajasthan.
• The girl must have been born in a government hospital of the state, or in a private medical institution authorised by the Medical and Health Department.
• The girl must have been born after 1 June 2016.
• The girl must not have more than 1 brother or sister, that is, the parents have at most 2 children.
• A native Rajasthani mother who gave birth in another state could also apply.
• The second instalment needed the child to have all vaccinations.
• An Aadhaar card or Bhamashah card was compulsory.

At birth

• Mother's native (mool niwas) certificate

At school admission (class 1, 6, 10, 12)

At the birth of the girl

1. The mother collected the Rajshree Yojana form (offline) from the office of the Chief Medical Officer and filled it in.
2. She attached the documents and submitted the form at an Anganwadi centre or the Chief Medical Officer's office.
3. The hospital verified the application and documents, and the Chief Medical Officer's office checked them again.
4. A list of eligible mothers was made, and the money was transferred online to their bank accounts, stage by stage.

At school admission (class 1, 6, 9, 10, 12)

1. If the benefit was not taken at birth, parents could apply when the girl took admission in school.
2. They got the form from the office of the school where the girl was admitted, filled it in and attached the documents.
3. The school uploaded the form and documents on the Shala Darpan portal.
4. The Women and Child Development Department checked them carefully, and if correct, the money was transferred online to the bank account.

• Existing Rajshree beneficiaries should check the further benefit under the Mukhyamantri Lado Protsahan Yojana with the Women and Child Development Department.
• Keep the girl's birth certificate, Aadhaar, Jan Aadhaar and bank details ready.
• Ask the department or your school which stage of benefit applies to your daughter now.

Is the Rajshree Yojana still open?

• No. It is closed. The further benefit is now given under the Mukhyamantri Lado Protsahan Yojana.

How much did the scheme give?

• Rs 50,000 in 6 stages, from birth until the girl passed class 12.

What is the amount under the Lado Protsahan Yojana?

• The amount has been raised to Rs 1.50 lakh. Confirm the stages and rules with the department.

Which girls were covered?

• Girls born after 1 June 2016 in a government or authorised private hospital, with at most 2 children in the family.

Was the benefit available if I did not take it at birth?

• Yes. Parents could apply when the girl took admission in school, including class 1.
