Rajasthan's Indira Mahila Shakti Udaan Yojana now runs as the Kalibai Bhil Udaan Yojana. Girls and women get free sanitary napkins through government schools, colleges and Anganwadi centres. About 1.22 crore girls and women are registered under it.
Latest Update
- New name: In January 2025 the state government renamed the scheme Kalibai Bhil Udaan Yojana and released a new logo. The reports mention only a change of name and logo, not a change in benefits.
- Registration on Rajsims: A June 2026 report from Kumher (Bharatpur) says out-of-school girls and women must register at the nearest Anganwadi centre with a Jan Aadhaar card and the mobile number linked to it. Anganwadi workers then distribute through the Rajsims portal.
- Supply delays: Reports in December 2024 and February 2026 said napkins did not reach schools and Anganwadis for long periods because of procurement problems, and that distribution had restarted only in parts of the Jodhpur division by early February 2026.
- Chief Secretary's review: The Chief Secretary has asked for uninterrupted supply, no compromise on quality, regular monitoring and arrangements with more than one company at division level. The report is undated.

- The older scheme text mentions below poverty line (BPL) families, but the current registration figures (1.22 crore) suggest a much wider group. Check with your Anganwadi centre.

- The Anganwadi worker records the distribution on the Rajsims portal.
- Collect your napkins every month. There is no fee.

- Rajsims पोर्टल पर पंजीकरण: कुम्हेर (भरतपुर) की जून 2026 की एक रिपोर्ट के अनुसार स्कूल-कॉलेज से बाहर की बालिकाओं और महिलाओं को जन आधार कार्ड और उससे जुड़े मोबाइल नंबर के साथ नज़दीकी आँगनबाड़ी केंद्र पर पंजीकरण कराना होता है। आँगनबाड़ी कार्यकर्ता Rajsims पोर्टल से वितरण करती हैं।
