How to Get the Benefit
- Take the sick animal to the nearest government veterinary institution or veterinary camp.
- Get the animal registered and show your documents.
- The veterinary doctor will examine the animal and issue a medicine slip.
- Collect the free medicines from the institution's distribution counter.
- If the animal is admitted to a ward, registration is treated as valid until discharge.
Important Rules
- Under the older rule, one registration was valid for three days of treatment. Ask the institution about the current validity.
- Medicines are given only for a registered animal on the veterinarian's slip.
- Home delivery in emergencies is available only after the animal has been registered.

- योजना की शुरुआत में 87 दवाइयाँ और 13 सर्जिकल/ड्रेसिंग सामग्री निःशुल्क रखी गई थीं। बाद में सूची बढ़ती रही।

लाभ लेने की प्रक्रिया
- बीमार पशु को नज़दीकी सरकारी पशु चिकित्सा संस्था या पशु चिकित्सा शिविर में ले जाएँ।
- संस्था में पशु का पंजीकरण कराएँ और अपने दस्तावेज़ दिखाएँ।
- पशु चिकित्सक जाँच करके दवा पर्ची जारी करेंगे।
- संस्था के दवा वितरण केंद्र से निःशुल्क दवा लें।
- वार्ड में भर्ती की स्थिति में पंजीकरण भर्ती से डिस्चार्ज तक मान्य माना जाता है।
महत्वपूर्ण नियम
- पुराने नियम में एक पंजीकरण तीन दिन के उपचार के लिए मान्य था। वर्तमान अवधि संस्था से पूछ लें।
- दवा केवल पंजीकृत पशु के लिए पशु चिकित्सक की पर्ची पर दी जाती है।
- इमरजेंसी में घर पर दवा की सुविधा तभी मिलती है जब पशु का पंजीकरण हो चुका हो।
