Latest Updates
- Deployment plan for 300 interns: 3 at each divisional HQ (21 in total), 2 at each district HQ (52 in total), and the remaining 227 in department-level schemes and projects.
- The internship is one year long. On the mentor's evaluation it can be extended in six-month blocks up to a maximum of two years.
- Each intern gets one casual leave a month, i.e. 12 a year.
- I could not find an official notice for a new batch or fresh applications. Check the SSO portal and the department website before applying.
- Separately, the Information and Public Relations Department (DIPR) announced a 2026 media internship with 20 posts and a reported last date of 13 September 2026. This comes from a secondary source and has now closed. See dipr.rajasthan.gov.in for official details.

Who Is Eligible
Eligible
- Permanent resident of Rajasthan.
- Age between 21 and 30 years.
- Post-graduate with at least 60 percent marks or grade 6.
- Graduates in engineering, medicine, law, chartered accountancy or company secretaryship can also apply.
- Own laptop and internet access.

How to Apply
- Register on the Rajasthan SSO Portal using Jan Aadhaar or Gmail.
- Log in with the user name and password you receive.
- Select Young Interns Program from the list of schemes.
- Fill in the online form and upload all documents.
- Write and upload an intent write-up of about 300 words on your area of interest.
- Submit. You will be told about the selection stages by SMS.

Important Points

- 300 इंटर्न की तैनाती का ढाँचा: हर संभागीय मुख्यालय पर 3 (कुल 21), हर जिला मुख्यालय पर 2 (कुल 52) और बाकी 227 विभागीय योजनाओं और परियोजनाओं में।
- इंटर्नशिप एक वर्ष की है। मेंटर के मूल्यांकन पर छह-छह माह करके अधिकतम दो वर्ष तक बढ़ सकती है।
- हर इंटर्न को महीने में 1 आकस्मिक अवकाश मिलता है, यानी साल में 12।

महत्वपूर्ण बिंदु
- यह केवल इंटर्नशिप है। इससे सरकारी नौकरी की कोई गारंटी नहीं मिलती।
- इंटर्नशिप के दौरान कोई और नौकरी नहीं की जा सकती।
