SVAMITVA maps village homes with drones and gives owners a Property Card (Record of Rights). It is not a cash scheme, and you usually do not apply. In Madhya Pradesh, a drive offers free registration of these records until 17 October 2026.

- Free registration: About 50 lakh private rural properties are to be registered with no stamp duty or registration fee. The state bears around Rs 4,000 crore.
- Dates: The campaign runs 17 September to 17 October 2026 in all 55 districts through village and panchayat camps, and Patwaris visit door to door.
- Progress: MP has prepared 68.47 lakh rights records in 41,568 villages.

Who Is Eligible

- Ordinary agricultural land is not covered.

How to Apply
- Wait for your village to be notified and attend the Gram Sabha.
- Be present when officials mark boundaries with lime powder.

- Raise an objection if your name, boundary or joint holding is wrong.
- Collect your Property Card from the State Revenue Department; download it from DigiLocker after Aadhaar verification.
