7 Railway Recruitments in 10 Months, 27,622 Posts! Assistant Loco Pilot Has the Most With 11,127, Around 1,200 Station Master Posts Also Coming
Good news for youth preparing for a railway job. According to the chairman of RRB Ajmer, seven recruitments this year have so far brought a total of 27,622 posts. The largest is Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) with 11,127 posts. In addition, around 1,200 Station Master posts and a few other recruitments are proposed.

Key Updates
- ALP: CBT-1 dates are reported as 3, 4 and 5 November 2026 (proposed). The exam city intimation is said to start from 25 October and admit cards 4 days before the exam. Reports mention about 8.4 lakh registered candidates.
