Employees' Federation Warns of Agitation Over Pending Dues! Surrender Leave, GPF, Gratuity and Bonus Stuck, Ultimatum of Hunger Strike and 'Black Diwali'
The Akhil Rajasthan Rajya Karmchari Sanyukt Mahasangh (Ekikrit) has warned that it will intensify its agitation over the pending payments of state employees and retired staff. Memoranda addressed to the Chief Minister were handed over through collectors in several districts including Udaipur, and a demonstration was held in Jaipur on 16 October. The Mahasangh says that if its demands are not met, a wide agitation will follow across the state.
The Mahasangh's Main Demands
- Pay the dues of retired employees: GPF, state insurance, gratuity, commutation, earned leave and leave encashment.
- Pay the surrender leave. As per reports, employees' surrender leave was sanctioned in April 2026 but payment is pending.
- Release ACP (8, 16, 24 and 32 years) benefits.
- Pay the entire Diwali bonus in cash.
The Warning and Next Step
- Office-bearers of the Mahasangh handed a warning letter to the District Collector.
- Alleging a blow to employees' interests, they said it will no longer be tolerated.
- If demands are not met, they warned of steps such as a hunger strike, food boycott and a 'Black Diwali'.
What Employees and Pensioners Should Do About Their Dues
- Ask your Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO) or the treasury which of your payments is pending and why.
- Keep documents (service book, sanction order, PPO, bank details) complete.
- Give a written complaint about the pending payment to the concerned office and take an acknowledgement.

- Do not trust rumours about the bonus; check the Finance Department's order.
