For the First Time Paper Will Come on Tablet in RSSB Recruitment Exam: Starting With Teaching Associate Exam, About 35,000 Candidates; 17 November to 21 December
To end the fear of paper leaks in recruitment exams and make the exam process more secure, the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) is preparing to adopt new technology. As per board chairman Alok Raj, a plan is being made to hold the Teaching Associate recruitment exam in December for the first time through a Tablet Based Test (TBT cum OMR) system. About 35,000 candidates are likely to appear in this exam.
What Is a Tablet-Based Exam
- The question paper will come on a tablet and answers will be filled on an OMR sheet (TBT cum OMR).
- The aim is to end the possibility of a paper question paper being leaked.
- The board has already held three dummy exams and the IT team of IIT Kanpur has also trialled the entire system (as per the news).
- If the experiment succeeds, the way may open to hold other recruitment exams through tablets in future.
