Stray Vacancy Round for Vacant Medical Seats! Old Choices Void, Locking Again Is a Must, Choice Filling Till 11:45 pm on 21 October
Even after three rounds, over 1,200 medical and dental seats in Rajasthan are still vacant. The Rajasthan NEET UG Medical and Dental Admission Board has released the stray vacancy round schedule to fill them. In this round all earlier choices will be treated as void, so you must fill and lock fresh choices.

Rules for This Round
- As per the Board, all choices filled earlier will be treated as void.
- Fresh choices must be filled and locked by 21 October.
- Only candidates who have paid the security deposit can fill choices. The amount is fixed by category.
- A bond also has to be filled in the stray vacancy round.
- Candidates with lower marks may also get a chance, but strictly by merit.
Steps to Fill Choices
- Log in to the official counselling website with your registration.
- Make sure the security deposit has been paid.
- Add choices for MBBS or BDS by college and quota. Choose after checking the fee.
- Arrange choices in order of priority and save.
- Lock the choices before time ends and keep a printout or screenshot.
- Check the provisional allotment on 22 October and, if you get a seat, report to the college between 22 and 26 October.
Things to Keep in Mind
- Do not rely on choices that are not locked; old choices will not work in this round.
- Private college fees are very high. As per a report, MBBS fees in many colleges start at Rs 85 lakh, so check the fee and bond terms before choosing a college.
- Avoid agents asking for money to get you a seat.
